Competition for the most beautiful green space
Want to maintain a well-kept garden or balcony? Take part in the Zielony Tarnów competition! The deadline for applications is July 30th.
The “Green Tarnów” competition has demonstrated that urban spaces can be transformed not only through major development projects, but also through day-to-day care for one’s immediate surroundings. Residents who take care of their balconies and gardens, as well as housing communities, schools, kindergartens, businesses, and allotment holders, are all invited to take part.
Entries can be submitted in five categories:
- balcony
- garden at a detached house
- garden at a multi-family residential building
- garden at an institution (schools, kindergartens, businesses)
- allotment garden
Applications will be accepted until July 30. Forms can be collected from Tarnów City Hall at 4 Nowa Street or downloaded from the attachment below.
The competition jury will visit the submitted sites by the end of August, evaluating, among other things, aesthetics, creativity, and care for greenery. The final of the competition and the awards ceremony are scheduled for October. Winners will receive diplomas and gifts.
