Electric Tour Vehicles Return to Tarnów’s Town Square
Want to discover Tarnów from a different perspective? Hop aboard a golden electric tour vehicle and explore the city. Throughout June, the tours operate every Saturday and Sunday. Participation is free of charge, although a refundable deposit is required. This year’s edition is funded by the Swiss Contribution Programme.
Tours depart from a Town Square at 10:00 a.m., 11:45 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 2:45 p.m. Each journey lasts approximately 75 minutes. The route follows Wałowa Street to Strzelecki Park, continues towards the Jewish Cemetery and the railway station, and then returns to the city centre. During the ride, passengers can listen to an audio guide presenting the history of local landmarks and other notable sites along the way.
Shorter sightseeing rides around the Old Town have also been prepared for younger visitors. These take place at 11:15 a.m. and 1:15 p.m.
No advance registration is required and participation is free, but a refundable deposit of PLN 20 is mandatory. The deposit must be paid at the Tarnów Tourist Information Centre, located at Rynek 7. Each tour is limited to 12 participants, and all minors must be accompanied by an adult.
