Green places I love – biodiversity in my city
This was the theme of the ecological competition organized by the Tarnów City Hall. Nineteen educational institutions participated, whose students created works depicting the green spaces of our city and urban nature through their eyes.
As the competition jury emphasized, the submitted works stood out for their creativity, careful execution and great commitment of the participants, which is why the competition committee had a real challenge in selecting the best ones.
The competition aimed to draw children and young people’s attention to the importance of biodiversity in urban spaces and to encourage them to notice and appreciate the nature present in their immediate surroundings.
During the closing ceremony at the Multimedia Artistic Centre, the competition results were announced and prizes were awarded to the winners, while commemorative diplomas were awarded to all participants.
