Local Season – Picnic in the Market Square

This is the slogan for the first event in the “Local Brilliant” series. A grand picnic full of delicious flavors will take place this weekend, May 23-24, in Tarnów’s Market Square. What will be on the program?

MAY 23

The event will be an opportunity to meet local food producers and craftspeople, especially small-scale manufacturers. The stands will be open from 12 noon to 6 PM.

The family picnic will begin at 12 AM. 12. Fifteen minutes later, you’ll be able to join a Zumba workout. Akrobatyka Tarnów will take the stage at 1 PM. There will also be contemporary dance performances. Teddy’s Army Dance Studio will perform at 2 PM. Those who want to exercise and try their hand at Zumba can join a Hanami Fitness workout at 7 PM. 15.

There will also be culinary delights. At 3:30 PM, the Mayor of Tarnów, along with the Mayor of Veszprem – Tarnów’s twin city – will cook and serve goulash. A free tasting will follow.

MAY 24

The “Shop Locally” fair will also be open on Sunday, from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. A Zero Waste competition will be held that day. Registration opens at 10:30 AM. 10:30. Eight teams can participate (first come, first served). The culinary competition itself will begin at 11:45 AM. 11:45.

Grilling enthusiasts are also in for a treat. At 1 PM, a grilling and tasting session is available. First, mushrooms stuffed with cheese are grilled, followed by sausages, and finally (around 2:30 p.m.) a May salad is prepared. A tasting session is available.
