SILVER START FOR PEOPLE AGED 50+ — FREE TRAINING COURSES IN TARNÓW
Are you 50 or older and living in Tarnów? Join the “Silver Start for 50+” project, a free initiative for people who want to expand their knowledge, discover new opportunities, and actively participate in social life.
The project offers 12 free sessions (one per month), each lasting 3.5 hours, divided into two thematic modules. The first focuses on starting and running a business — for those considering their own business idea or wanting to better understand the realities of entrepreneurship. The second module covers cybersecurity in practice; how to use the Internet safely and protect your personal data in the digital world.
Sessions are conducted as workshops and informational meetings, in a friendly group and welcoming atmosphere. Catering is provided at every session. Upon completing the programme, participants receive a certificate.
The project culminates in a free trip to Warsaw. Participants will visit NASK — the Research and Academic Computer Network — and the Copernicus Science Centre. It is a chance to see first-hand what the world of modern technology looks like up close.
The project has places for 28 participants. The programme is also accessible to people with disabilities. Participation is completely free of charge, as the project is funded by Swiss Funds.
Applications are accepted on the basis of a completed recruitment form, available in the attachment below. For more information, please contact us at m.pawlowski@umt.tarnow.pl or by phone at +48 14 688-26-46.
